Product Overview
The Piece
This silver-plated vanity casket dates to the Edwardian period, when dressing-table objects were designed to be both decorative and intimate. Finished in a softly rounded oval form, the exterior is adorned with neoclassical garlands, ribboned swags, and a central cartouche intended for monogramming.
Pieces like this lived on vanities and bedside tables, holding hairpins, rings, coins, or small personal keepsakes as part of daily ritual.
