Who We Are

This website is operated by Viridian Eclection, Inc., a Nevada corporation, trading as Viridian Eclection, with its place of business at The Morris Hotel Building, 400 East Fourth Street, Reno, Nevada 89512. Viridian Eclection is a curated collection of antiques, vintage furniture, original art, and objects for the home. These terms govern your use of this website and your purchase of any piece through it. By placing an order you accept them.

The Pieces We Sell

Almost everything we sell is One of a Kind — 1 Available. Pieces are antique, vintage, or original works of art, and are sold in their existing condition. We examine, photograph, and describe each piece by hand, and we disclose age, wear, repair, and restoration in the listing. Colour reproduction varies between screens; the measurements given in the listing are the authority.

Attributions of maker, origin, and date represent our considered opinion, formed from maker's marks, construction, materials, and documented provenance, and are given in good faith. Where a piece carries a certificate of authenticity, provenance documentation, or an appraisal, that is stated in the listing.

If a piece arrives materially different from its description, our Refund Policy sets out your remedy under Condition Guaranteed.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in United States dollars. The price shown at checkout, together with the shipping shown and applicable Nevada sales tax, is the full amount you will pay. There are no membership fees, subscriptions, handling charges, or recurring charges of any kind, and no charge is added after an order is placed. Where a listing shows an appraised value, that figure is a valuation and not a former selling price.

Payment is taken in full at the time of order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed by Shopify Payments. We do not store your card details.

Order Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch or collection. Because our inventory is one of a kind and is also sold in person and through trade channels, a piece may occasionally sell twice within the same short window. If that happens, or if a listing carries a material pricing or description error, we may decline the order and will refund you in full, immediately and without deduction. We will tell you why.

Shipping and Delivery

Our Shipping Policy forms part of these terms. Shipping costs are final before payment is taken. For freight and oversized pieces, any quote is agreed with you in writing before the piece ships, and an order you do not wish to proceed with at that figure is cancelled and refunded in full. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery by the carrier or on collection.

Returns

Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms and sets out in full when a piece may be returned, how to make a claim under Condition Guaranteed, and how transit damage is handled. Where a return is accepted, return transport is arranged and paid for by the buyer in every case.

Scope of These Terms

These terms govern online sales made through this website. Interior design services, consignment placements, and trade or wholesale accounts are governed by a separate written agreement between us.

Use of This Website

The photographs, written descriptions, research, logo, and design of this website are the property of Viridian Eclection, Inc. and may not be reproduced, republished, or used commercially without our written permission. Trade and press enquiries are welcome.

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to extract its contents by automated means.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nevada law, our liability arising out of any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the piece concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Antiques and vintage pieces are sold as decorative objects. Vintage electrical items, lighting, and mechanical pieces should be inspected and, where necessary, rewired or serviced by a qualified professional before use. Vintage ceramics, glass, and metalware are not certified food-safe.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada. Before that, please contact us. Most matters are resolved in a single conversation, and we would prefer that.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order is the version that applies to it. This version is effective September 2026.
