The modeling carries the expressive detailing Sandicast is known for, worked into the resin before painting rather than applied as decoration afterward. The finish is applied by hand.
The original felt pads remain on the underside, and the Sandicast label is intact and legible.

Sandicast was founded by the sculptor Sandra Brue and produced in San Diego, California. This example is marked with the copyright of 1990 and the initials S. Brue, which dates the casting precisely and ties it to her hand rather than to a later licensee.
