Description
A vintage Keuffel & Esser (K&E) proportional divider, housed in its original fitted case with deep blue velvet lining. Precision-machined and marked “Germany,” this instrument reflects the era when drafting tools were engineered with the same seriousness as scientific equipment.
Designed to enlarge or reduce drawings proportionally, the divider features a finely calibrated central slide with engraved scales for both circles and linear measurements. The mechanical action is smooth and deliberate, with needle-point tips that emphasize accuracy and control.
