The Piece
Designed to elevate both desserts and décor, this three-tier pressed glass tidbit stand transforms everyday entertaining into an elegant presentation. Each tier features deeply molded petal-cut glass that catches and refracts light beautifully, creating the appearance of blooming flowers stacked in graceful succession.
Whether displaying petit fours, macarons, fruit, jewelry, candles, or seasonal décor, the stand offers timeless versatility while adding sculptural interest to a table or buffet.
History
Tiered serving stands experienced a revival during the mid-century and Hollywood Regency eras as home entertaining became increasingly formal. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, manufacturers paired richly molded pressed glass with polished brass or gold-tone hardware to create affordable luxury pieces that echoed the appearance of fine crystal.
Unlike earlier Victorian examples, these later stands emphasized clean geometry and brilliant pressed patterns while remaining practical for everyday use.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
A tiered stand like this does more than serve desserts. It creates height, draws the eye, and gives even simple objects a curated presentation. Use it as a centerpiece for entertaining, organize perfumes or jewelry on a vanity, display holiday ornaments, or create an elegant afternoon tea arrangement. Its floral pressed-glass design sparkles beautifully under natural or candlelight, making it equally suited for everyday living and special occasions.

All antique and vintage items are sold as described and all sales are final. Each listing includes detailed condition notes and photographs so you can make a fully informed decision. We encourage buyers to ask questions — about condition, dimensions, finish, provenance — before purchasing.
Antiques are irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Carrier handling is outside our control once a piece has left our facility, and major carriers including FedEx do not insure antiques. We do everything within our power to ensure safe transit, but cannot accept liability for carrier damage. If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
Have a question? — we're happy to provide additional photos, condition detail, or discuss the piece directly.
