This sculptural wall plaque depicts a raised theatrical scene from Madama Butterfly, with the two central figures placed against an architectural terrace, distant ship, arched bridge, mountains, and floral borders. The composition is deeply dimensional, with the figures and botanical elements standing proud from the surface in molded relief.

The plaque has an ivory-toned finish that gives it the appearance of carved stone or alabaster, though based on construction it is best described as a molded decorative plaque rather than stone. The reverse includes an inset metallic commemorative label and original hanging ring for wall display.
