The Piece
A remnant of woven jacquard decorator fabric, measuring approximately 51 inches long by 28 inches wide.
The pattern is a raised tan geometric trellis, a lattice repeat, set over a muted blue ground. Because the cloth is a jacquard, that figure is woven into the structure rather than printed on the surface, which is what gives the tan lattice its relief.
The fiber content is not marked, and the cloth is likely a cotton or synthetic blend. The piece retains raw edges and selvage with fringe along the cut sides.
History & Provenance
The remnant is vintage upholstery weight cloth, of a type supplied to the decorating trade for furniture, cushions, and drapery panels rather than for dressmaking.
No mill mark, selvage printing, or maker's label accompanies the piece, so there is no attribution beyond the weave and the character of the cloth, and the date is to be confirmed.
The blue and tan trellis repeat is a decorator pattern, the kind of restrained geometric that was cut from the bolt for a single job and kept as a remainder. The raw edges are consistent with that history.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
At this size the remnant is enough for a pair of pillow covers, a seat pad, a chair slip, a runner, or a bound panel, which is how most good decorator remnants find their second life.
The muted blue and tan reads as quiet and architectural rather than decorative, and the woven relief gives it more presence in a room than a printed cloth of the same scale.
For a designer or upholsterer it is useful material with a period weave, the sort of yardage that is difficult to specify new and easy to place in a collected interior.
