The Design
A sculptural 1960s table lamp with an ivory glazed ceramic urn body, raised floral relief, and sweeping spiral fluting that moves from the footed base through the rounded body and domed neck. The form is elegant and theatrical, with a soft old-world silhouette that bridges mid-century Hollywood Regency, Italianate Revival, and French Provincial influence.
Gold accent bands frame the ceramic body at the neck, lower collar, and base, adding a refined decorative edge without overwhelming the creamy glaze. The lamp features a dual-socket construction with pull chains and a warm fabric shade, giving it a full, atmospheric glow when lit.
This is not a quiet little corner lamp. It has height, ornament, and presence: the kind of piece that makes a nightstand, console, or entry table feel designed rather than merely furnished.
Condition & Provenance
Consistent with decorative lighting from the 1960s, with period-appropriate ceramic styling, gold trim, dual sockets, and traditional pull-chain hardware.
The lamp is shown illuminated and appears functional at the time of photography. The ceramic body presents beautifully with glossy ivory glaze, raised floral detailing, and age-appropriate surface wear. The metal hardware shows patina. The shade is included and shows visible vintage wear, including creasing, small marks, and wear near the upper rim.
No visible maker’s mark is shown in the provided photos.
Dimensions

Why It Belongs In Your Home
This lamp brings softness, height, and sculptural elegance into a room. The ivory ceramic keeps the piece light and refined, while the gold detailing gives it the formal polish of a vintage interior object rather than ordinary lighting.
It would sit beautifully on a bedroom nightstand, entry console, writing desk, side table, or layered beside framed art and dark wood furniture. The glow is warm, the shape is graceful, and the finish has just enough age to feel collected instead of showroom-perfect.
Every piece is packed with professional-grade materials: multiple foam layers, double-boxing, directional and fragile handling labels. For large furniture we use custom timber crating. We photograph packing before dispatch and can provide images on request.

All antique and vintage items are sold as described and all sales are final. Each listing includes detailed condition notes and photographs so you can make a fully informed decision. We encourage buyers to ask questions — about condition, dimensions, finish, provenance — before purchasing.
Antiques are irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Carrier handling is outside our control once a piece has left our facility, and major carriers including FedEx do not insure antiques. We do everything within our power to ensure safe transit, but cannot accept liability for carrier damage. If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
Have a question? — we're happy to provide additional photos, condition detail, or discuss the piece directly.
