A small painted occasional table of two tiers, with a rectangular top bordered by molded trim and small raised corner blocks, a scalloped apron, pierced elongated cutouts along the front, straight fluted legs, and a lower display shelf.
The lower shelf echoes the shaped lines of the upper apron, and the fluting on the legs adds vertical detail without weighting the form. The construction is light but carefully detailed.
The finish is a creamy ivory paint, layered and naturally distressed throughout, revealing warm beige and darker underlayers at the edges, corners, legs, and top. The silhouette is graceful and softly architectural, with enough structure and patina to keep it from feeling precious.
