Description
A c.1970s hand-tooled leather wallet with the kind of character mass production still hasn’t managed to fake. Compact in scale but rich in detail, it features a deeply tooled floral front, hand-laced edges, and a warm saddle-brown leather body that has softened beautifully with age. The snap-tab closure and carved finish give it that unmistakable Western craft feel, somewhere between utility piece and personal keepsake.
What makes it especially compelling is the texture. The leather has developed a mellow patina over time, with visible wear around the edges and hardware that only adds to its authenticity. It feels handmade in the best way: tactile, imperfect, and full of lived-in charm. This is the sort of piece that reads instantly as vintage, not because it is loud, but because it has substance.
It works equally well as a collectible accessory, a functional card wallet, or a small styling piece for a dresser, desk, or layered retail display. The floral tooling gives it a distinctly nostalgic Americana feel, while the scale keeps it easy to use and easy to love.
