The Piece
Pull up a seat at the table. This is an authentic casino gaming chair by Gasser — the low-back captain's swivel that spent its working life at a blackjack or poker table. The sculpted barrel back curves forward into rolled arms, all wrapped in deep marine-blue vinyl and outlined in a protective black bumper-roll, over a generous round seat cushion built for long sessions. It swivels smoothly on a bronze-tone four-star base and rolls on original casters. The blue has aged into a gorgeous mottled, denim-like patina — worn in all the right places, with honest scuffs that only make it look like it has stories to tell.
History & Provenance
Gasser Chair Company of Youngstown, Ohio has built commercial and casino seating since the mid-twentieth century, and its gaming chairs are fixtures of card rooms and casino floors across the country — engineered to be comfortable through a long night's play and tough enough to take the wear. This example carries the original Gasser maker's tag beneath the seat. Genuine casino gaming chairs like this have become sought-after for home game rooms, bars, and offices precisely because of that pedigree: they're the real thing, not a reproduction of the look.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
The character piece every game room, home bar, or study has been missing. Roll it up to a poker table, park it at a desk for the coolest office chair in the building, or let it anchor a corner with a lamp and a stack of books. It swivels, it rolls, it's comfortable, and it carries the unmistakable glamour of the casino floor — a genuine, hard-working piece of Americana with a patina money can't fake. The kind of chair that makes a room feel collected and lived-in, never staged.
Every piece is packed with professional-grade materials: multiple foam layers, double-boxing, directional and fragile handling labels. For large furniture we use custom timber crating. We photograph packing before dispatch and can provide images on request.

All antique and vintage items are sold as described and all sales are final. Each listing includes detailed condition notes and photographs so you can make a fully informed decision. We encourage buyers to ask questions — about condition, dimensions, finish, provenance — before purchasing.
Antiques are irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Carrier handling is outside our control once a piece has left our facility, and major carriers including FedEx do not insure antiques. We do everything within our power to ensure safe transit, but cannot accept liability for carrier damage. If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
Have a question? — we're happy to provide additional photos, condition detail, or discuss the piece directly.
