The Piece
A dramatic, one-of-a-kind 5-drawer dresser in deep charcoal black and glowing amber wood, designed to feel like a modern heirloom. Crafted from solid pine, the case is finished in a smooth, moody black, while the drawer fronts and top are sanded, stained, and sealed to showcase every knot, grain line, and timeworn mark.
Across each drawer, smoky brushwork and subtle floral/print transfers create the effect of an old photograph emerging from the wood—part industrial, part antique printmaking. Long black bar pulls stretch the full width of each drawer, sharpening the silhouette and giving the piece a clean, contemporary edge.

Originally a standard late-20th-century pine dresser, this piece has been fully reimagined by Viridian Eclection. The strong, solid wood frame made it the perfect canvas for a darker, moodier finish—something that nods to warehouse lofts and vintage print shops while still feeling at home in a modern bedroom.
