Solid wood frames • Patented auto-fold mechanism • Blue vinyl seats
Bring smart mid-century engineering into the dining room. This matched pair of Leg-O-Matic folding chairs combines a refined lyre/double-X back with the brand’s ingenious automatic leg mechanism—pull the seat and the linked steel arms open or collapse the legs in one motion. The result: chairs that look like fine furniture yet store perfectly flat.
History
Born in post-war America, Leg-O-Matic outfitted compact homes, clubs, cruise ships, and famously Airstream trailers with elegant folding seating. Through the 1950s–early 1960s, the company offered several back styles over birch/beech frames, all using its patented scissor-link hardware. These pieces epitomize the era’s design brief: space-saving without sacrificing style.

If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
