The Piece
A richly colored leaded-glass lamp shade in the beloved Tiffany style. The domed form radiates from a central rondel in a spiderweb of warm caramel, rose, and honey slag glass, ringed by a lush border of stylized tulips and trailing vines worked in orange, gold, green, lavender, and cobalt accents, all framed in a band of rippled, textured clear glass that catches the light. Hundreds of individually cut pieces are joined in the traditional copper-foil-and-solder method, and lit from within it glows like a stained-glass window. Substantial and genuinely lovely from every angle.
History & Provenance
The leaded-glass shade — pioneered by Louis Comfort Tiffany at the turn of the twentieth century — remains one of the most enduring forms in decorative lighting, its jewel-toned glow synonymous with warmth and craftsmanship. Shades like this one carry that tradition forward: hand-assembled from cut slag glass in the Tiffany manner, made to bring color and old-world atmosphere to a modern home. It's the look generations have loved, in a size and palette that flatter almost any interior.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
Nothing warms a room like leaded glass. Mount it on a lamp base for a glowing table or floor lamp, hang it as a pendant over a table or bar, or simply display it on a stand where the light can pour through — it reads as art either way. The warm amber-and-rose palette suits everything from a cozy library to a Craftsman bungalow to a maximalist, collected interior. A big hit of color, craft, and old-world glow.
