The Piece
The technical outlier of the collection, and worth understanding on its own terms. This is metallic alcohol ink rather than oil or acrylic — a medium that cannot be corrected. The ink moves as it dries and settles where it settles; the painter's only real control is the decision to stop. For an artist whose stated rule is one confident stroke and no apology, it is the most honest medium she works in, and the least forgiving.
The image is a woman on a Moscow balcony above a city she built a successful life in, looking past it. The metallic passages carry the golden light the artist describes stretching across the skyline, and they shift as the viewer moves — the surface is genuinely different from three angles, which no photograph of it will tell you. Thirty by forty inches.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
Metallic media reward placement more than any other surface in the house. Give this one directional light — a picture light, a window to the side, a lamp below — and it performs; hang it in flat overhead light and you will lose half of what you bought. Placed well, it is the piece guests walk toward.

All antique and vintage items are sold as described and all sales are final. Each listing includes detailed condition notes and photographs so you can make a fully informed decision. We encourage buyers to ask questions — about condition, dimensions, finish, provenance — before purchasing.
Antiques are irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Carrier handling is outside our control once a piece has left our facility, and major carriers including FedEx do not insure antiques. We do everything within our power to ensure safe transit, but cannot accept liability for carrier damage. If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
