The Piece
The smallest canvas in the group at twenty by twenty-four inches, and the one that asks the least of a wall. Acrylic, luminous, and painted with an unusually even hand.
Seraphelle is a watching figure — an angel, in the artist's account, sent not to intervene but to observe, and carrying the sadness that comes with seeing clearly. That restraint is painted rather than described: there is no dramatic light, no raised hand, no heavenly apparatus. The luminosity is worked into the ground itself so that the figure appears lit from within the canvas rather than from any source outside it. Allibe leaves the features soft, which at this scale reads less as a technique than as tact.
History & Provenance
Kat Allibe is a French-born contemporary painter working in Reno, Nevada, and the originator of Emotional Impressionism. She painted privately for over thirty years, producing more than 150 works that never entered the market, before entering formal study at the Milan Art Institute in 2025.
Viridian Eclection is her private dealer. This painting comes directly from the studio, with a certificate of authenticity issued and signed by the artist.

Why It Belongs in Your Home
The entry point to the collection, and the one that suits a gallery wall — small enough to hang among photographs and smaller framed works without dominating them, and good enough to be the piece everyone asks about. Also the sensible first acquisition for a collector who wants an Allibe before the prices settle.

All antique and vintage items are sold as described and all sales are final. Each listing includes detailed condition notes and photographs so you can make a fully informed decision. We encourage buyers to ask questions — about condition, dimensions, finish, provenance — before purchasing.
Antiques are irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Carrier handling is outside our control once a piece has left our facility, and major carriers including FedEx do not insure antiques. We do everything within our power to ensure safe transit, but cannot accept liability for carrier damage. If damage occurs in transit, we will provide full documentation to support your carrier claim.
Have a question? — we're happy to provide additional photos, condition detail, or discuss the piece directly.
